#42-Singapore Madness PT. 2

Well, sad to say, but I can't upload the pictures tonight. I think I wanna fill up my camera till it's full before I download the pictures to my laptop. I still have 2693 pictures more to go on my 2GB card. But I think I'll take a whole lot of photos tomorrow, cause I might be exploring Singapore deeper, maybe I'll go to the Singapore River tomorrow. And more pictures from Vivo to come. Vivo rocks, man!!

Tonight, well, it started off with me running my ass of from Vivo to Grand Hyatt Singapore for dinner. I had to take the MRT from Harbourfront (NE1) to the Dohby Ghaut interchange (NS24/NE6) then take the North-South Line to Orchard (NS22). After that, I had to run about 500-700 metres to the hotel. It's not about running from the exit of the station to the hotel, it's the running from one line to the other as well as the length between the exit and the train. But it's good exercise :-)

I'm in Starbucks opposite my hotel right now. My god. It's like 12.00am 1st of June right now and the place is still like so damn crowded. Singaporeans are really alive. They never sleep. Really. The whole Starbucks is like full. Dad's texting me right now asking me to go back to the room, so I think that's it for this post.

Tataz!

#41-Singapore Madness PT. 1

Oh well, I'm currently sitting in Starbucks @ Vivo City Singapore. All is well for now and flight and all is good. Pictures will be up later, when I'm back at the hotel using it's wi-fi services at the club lounge. Yes, we're in a Club Room. More on that later. Anyways, just chillin' in Starbucks sippin' on a Grande Caramel Frap. Good stuff!!

Oh yea, it's been raining as hell here in Singapore. And you know me, I don't carry an umbrella with me at all times, so there was one part where I needed to go back from Ngee Ann City to my hotel, Meritus Mandarin Singapore, which is actually next to each other, separated by a road. I ran across the road with about 7secs on the timer. Under the rain, yes, UNDER THE RAIN, BAWAH HUJAN, etc. etc. I was wet la after that. Luckily I've got a spare change of clothes in my bag, so changed, came out, waited in the taxi stand, and I was like how could she, the lady behind me, go first. Then, the usher was like are you a in-house guest? Yes. Room number? 3008. Oh ok, next cab is for you then. /whoo I beat the rest who were in line. Hehehe..Hahaha...

I got my dream cab :->. A Hyundai Sonata 2.0 CRDi, no lar, not my dream cab. I was just hoping it would not be those old Toyota Crown/Nissan Cedric diesel taxis. Bored of those already, now the taxis I prefer sitting in are the Hyundai Sonata CRDi, Kia Magentis diesel, Mercedes E200 NGT and E220cdi, VW Touran TDi and Skoda Superb TDi. LOOOLLL!!!!

Part 2 will come soon. Stay tuned.

#39-Sitting in Starbucks again...

Well, this is the second time in two days that I'm blogging in Starbucks. Yesterday, it was a movie outing alone and before and after that I was at Starbucks, surfing the net as well as blogging. Today, my mum wanted to come to Gurney to shop for some stuff to give to relatives before going to Singapore on Saturday. So I was like ok, I shall follow. So grabbed my laptop and headed for Gurney in PHE25.

I've also come to realise apart from blogging, my new interests also involves photography, I've been taking a lot of pictures lately wherever I go to, and also pictures of myself.

#36-Movie Outing, My Wife Is A Gambling Maestro

Watched this today, it's a good show, 7/10.
It's funny how they named four caracters in the show after famous people, Leo Ku, Jay Chou, Pamela Anderson and Eason Chan. Haha. Lol.
Nick Cheung as Jay Chou looks a bit sloppy in the show. Not to his usual self I see.
Natalie Meng as Pamela Anderson/Lung Ying Ying was good. Winks;)she's hot. Lol.

#35-Preparing for Singapore!

Well, going to Singapore this Saturday, of course la have to pack right?
Yesterday, got the bags out and just wanted to show you my lovely pink luggage and a couple of vain pictures of me :-).

Ah, this luggage, was actually bought with my brother's own luggage, it was like a promotion or something, both are pink just that my brother's one is bigger than mine. There's alot of history with this bag. It got stranded @ Heathrow last year, went on the Scandinavian cruise with me, and it went on the 1-month holiday to Europe with me last year! How I miss that trip. Might blog about that sometime later.

Bag! Pink! Yay!

I still have the Princess Cruise tag still on.

Proof that it's my bag.

Well, I've no idea what has gotten into me this morning. I suddenly felt like going to the market. Means that I'll have to wake up early. I remembered last week, I kept on telling myself, that the next 2 weeks will be May Break and I can sleep late. But, I woke up early this morning, 7.15 to be exact. Went to the market with my mum and for breakfast after that.

Well, again the plain old boring routine happened yesterday; woke up-lunch-work-tuition-dinner-work-leisure-sleep. I need to get out more often now, but I think I'll save all my energy for this Saturday until the following Thursday where I'll be in Singapore :DD!! YAY!

See that BMW? It's the first 320i Sport I see on the road. Reg. No. WRE138.

I don't like new Britney songs, but this is good.

Sorry if the pic is blurry, the car was moving and I just left my camera on burst mode. What happened to that house, you must be thinking? Well, apparently, as said in the papers, sometime 1 a.m. or so earlier that day, a guy lost control of his BMW and skidded and crashed into that house. Nothing major happened. And interestingly, that's the 2nd time that person's house got hit in 6 months. Awww....

Peach and Passionfruit Ahmad Tea, my fav. drink at the moment.

Yea man. Rock On!

#26-Penang Swimming Club

Well, we're not members of this club, we're just visitors, my granduncle was kind enough to take us here for dinner today and so yea, we came in PHE25 (our usual outing vehicle) ate dinner at a german restaurant at the 'snake tepmle', not the real one, it's just a name for that rectangular building at one corner of the swimming pool at PSC. Oh, btw, the swimming pool at PSC is huge, Olympic sized pool, nearly 4 times the size of our pool at home. Anyways, while eating there, I met an old friend, her name's Ai Ching, we just waved, no talking, my mum did talk to her mum though. She's at Dalat now, an American syllabus based school here in Penang. My god, it seems that among all my kindergarten school friends, I'm the only one going to a shitty local school.

Well, after dinner, the 5 of us went for dessert at a place that sells crepe along Gurney Drive, pretty good place, love their crepes, just a lil' bit expensive, but, it's alright.

Picture of the sea from the parking garage.

Floor 3 of the parking garage, our car is at the far end of the garage.

Damn chun the four condos there. 1 unit per floor, average 38 floors per unit, approx 2mil for a unit? I would love to stay on the 38th floor of the unit the furthest to the right, the lucky person must have a wonderful view.
